Hello friends, my name is Laura Adams! I am a wife to Tracy, mom to Emma and Evan, a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, and a Certified Reflexologist Practitioner . I have over 22 years of experience in healthcare. I began my journey with Physical Therapy helping others with physical impairments, pain, and disability. As a PTA, I use my hands as a therapeutic approach to address pain, increase physical strength, stability, and focus on repairing function to affected areas of the body. All of these can allow an individual to regain joy in their life. I believe in the power of touch, which led me to Reflexology.
I was introduced to Reflexology by chance, and was amazed at my own personal healing! Most people who work in healthcare are not the ones who typically reach out to be "helped". I had struggled with right hip pain for years and after a few sessions, I noticed a decrease in pain, and the need to take ibuprofen. After several sessions, I knew this was something that I wanted to do. It has become a passion, and something I truly feel that God lead me to find. I found a purpose where I can be of service to others in ways that I get to choose the treatment method, and the length of the treatment verses the insurance companies making those decisions. I took a step of faith, and was encouraged by my mentor and angel on earth to sign up for a 300 hour course at the Academy of Reflective Wellness in Salisbury, NC, which is a member of the state of North Carolina Reflexology Association.
